Scanning allocation
Scanning time allocation - 6 Feb 2024
On the day
We will be scanning on the 3T GE on the SPMIC QMC site (in the Medical School, across the bridge). Please allow plenty of time to find the place. Please be there 5 minutes before the time (volunteers 15 min early) – so we can get started promptly. There’s lots going on, especially with slightly larger groups of people around, but hopefully not too hectic.
(Volunteers who go into the scanner may have to change into hospital style scrubs if the scanner operator asks - they will also have to take their shoes off, so make sure you have comfy socks on).
Our demonstrator will be waiting in the foyer and help show people into console room. I will explain all the steps while I position the volunteers and while we scan, so hopefully it will be fun and informative.
